The Exodus of Liberation

There is a fire that does not burn. A flame that does not consume. A longing that does not wound but rather awakens.

This fire is Nissan, Aries, the holy flame of desire, the first impulse of creation itself.

I have seen this fire before, flickering at the edges of dreams, whispering in the voices of prophets and wanderers. It is the flame that called Moses from the bush, demanding that he step forward and listen. It is the lamp of the wise virgins, their oil untouched by hesitation, their hearts prepared for the arrival of the Beloved. It is the eternal blaze of Brigid’s hearth, the sacred duty of those who tend to the flame and ensure it never dies.

And it is the mystic´s fire, the fire of the one who seeks without knowing what they are seeking, the one who walks a road with no map, guided only by the longing in their hearts.

Nissan is the month of initiation, the threshold where desire meets destiny. Aries is not only about action, it is about responding to the call. It is about the moment when the fire finds you, and you must decide: Will I step forward? Will I let this flame change me?

I know this longing intimately.

It has lived in my bones, in the restless ache of knowing there is more, more life, more love, more mystery waiting just beyond the veil. It is the fire that has burned in me since the first moment I heard the name Magdalene whispered across the waters of my soul. It is the same fire that has drawn me to the moonlit roads of Avalon, to the Deserts of the Middle East, to the Al Andalus and to the hidden places where Shekhinah waits to be remembered.

And now, it is calling again. This Holy Flame of desire is known as Hooba in Aramaic.

The fire of Nissan is not comfortable. It consumes what is false so that only truth remains. It strips away the masks until only the naked soul stands, trembling, yet shining with divine light.

It is time to answer the call.

To let go of hesitation. To step into the unknown. To trust that this fire does not burn to destroy, but to illuminate, to sanctify, to set the soul ablaze with purpose.

Like Moses before the burning bush, I remove my shoes.

Like the wise ones who tended the eternal flame, I offer my hands.

Like the Mystic walking the endless road, I surrender to the mystery.

And I whisper to the fire, “Take me where you will.”

The Month of Nissan: A Time for Freedom, Renewal, and Divine Revelation. Starts on the eve of March 30th in 2025.

Nissan, the first month of the Hebrew calendar, is aligned with the astrological sign of Aries (Taleh) and ruled by the planet Mars (Ma’adim). This month carries the energy of freedom, renewal, and divine revelation. Known as the month of redemption, Nissan marks the beginning of spiritual and physical liberation, inviting us to step into the fullness of our divine potential.

The Spiritual Work of Nissan

Nissan is a time to reclaim our freedom, freedom from limitation, fear, and anything that keeps us from living in alignment with our divine purpose. This month teaches us to embrace the sacred act of renewal, mirroring the rebirth of nature in spring. Nissan is a call to awaken to the miracles surrounding us and to recognize the divine hand guiding our journey. It invites us to align with the energy of redemption and to embody the courage to move forward into the unknown with faith.

A Teaching for Nissan

Nissan is the month where new beginnings are planted. This is a time to act on divine inspiration and trust in the guidance of the Creator. Nissan teaches us that true freedom begins within, as we liberate ourselves from the inner constraints that block our light.

The Energy of Redemption: The Holiday of Passover

At the heart of Nissan is Passover (Pesach), the festival of liberation that commemorates the exodus from Egypt. Mystically, Egypt (Mitzrayim) symbolizes narrowness or limitation. The journey of Passover teaches us to transcend our own Mitzrayim, breaking free from what enslaves us. This holiday calls us to remember that divine redemption is not just an event in history but a continual unfolding in our lives. Each year, we are invited to step into our personal exodus, leaving behind the old and stepping into the promise of a new beginning.

The Letter Hei and the Energy of Divine Breath

The letter associated with Nissan is Hei (ה), which represents divine breath, revelation, and the creative power of speech. Hei is a symbol of the feminine aspect of creation, the Shekhinah, and reminds us of the sacred power of words to shape our reality. During Nissan, we are called to align our speech with divine truth, allowing our words to become vessels of creation, healing, and liberation.

The Aries Mystery: Courage and Initiation

Aries, the cardinal fire sign, embodies the energy of courage, action, and new beginnings. Under Aries’ influence, Nissan calls us to take bold steps toward our soul’s purpose. This is a month of initiation, where the fire of divine inspiration propels us into action. Aries teaches us to trust the inner spark that guides us, knowing that the divine light within is stronger than any obstacle we face.

Sacred Gratitude for Miracles: Take time to acknowledge and celebrate the miracles in your life, both seen and unseen. Gratitude amplifies the energy of redemption and opens the heart to divine flow.

Nissan as the Month of Miracles and Renewal

Nissan reminds us that we are always held in the arms of divine providence. It is a time to honor the miraculous, to renew our connection to Source, and to step into our freedom as co-creators with the divine. As we walk through this month, may we carry its wisdom and light, embodying the courage and faith needed to bring heaven to earth.

A Magdalene Reflection for Nissan

This month, I feel the presence of Mary Magdalene as Bringer of Liberation. She, too, walked away from systems of oppression. She, too, stood at the threshold between death and rebirth. She, too, heard the Voice call her name from within the tomb. Her resurrection did not come with trumpets, but with silence, devotion, and fire.

She reminds us that liberation is an inner exodus​, from illusions, from shame, from roles imposed by others. She reminds us that our sacred work is not to escape the body or the world, but to ignite our inner flame so fully that the tomb cannot hold us.

She is not only the witness of Yeshua’s resurrection​, she is the embodiment of her own.

May this new year of the moon awaken your sacred courage.
May your exodus be blessed with clarity, trust, and protection.
May your holy fire be tended with wisdom.
And may you remember: you were not born to remain in Egypt.

You were born to cross seas.
To walk deserts.
To burn with light.
