Shabbat Message: Womb of Compassion
The Womb of Compassion: A Reflection on Alaha Rakheme
Shabbat Blessings to all of you!
Today I was having a beautiful conversation with my dear friend Krishna Rose and we were speaking of the power of the Aramaic Language, amongst so many other beautiful topics. We both agreed that as the Magdalene – Christ teachings expand into different expressions, at the same time it is important to connect with the bare soulful essence of the teachings of these high holy beings. There is so much fantasy moving around Yeshua and especially Mary Magdalene.
I can clearly remember when my conversion took place. It was when I realized that the translations of the gospels written in Aramaic were completely off. The creation of a Jesus that had nothing to do with who he truly was and what or how he taught was actually confusing, and for this reason I decided to go back to University and obtain a degree in Aramaic.
Yeshua often used the word Alaha (God) to refer to the Divine Mother-Father, and he also used Alaha Rakhme, which translates to the Womb of Compassion. This speaks of Divine Presence as both the origin of creation and the embodiment of compassion.
In Aramaic, the word “rakhme” means womb. Yeshua’s use of Alaha Rakhme teaches us that the Divine is not just a distant creator but a nurturing presence that births compassion. The Divine is intimately involved in creation, continuously birthing new life and nurturing it with compassion.
Hebrew Mystics understand the principle of “as above, so below”, and as Yeshua was a Hebrew Mystic, the divine qualities we see in Alaha should be reflected in our own lives. If the Divine is a womb of compassion, then we too are called to awaken this sacred womb within us. This is not limited to women; it is a universal call to embody compassion and nurturing in all aspects of life. It is a call to remember that we are involved in the Creation of this world with every thought, breath, word and action. It is a call to awaken and become the MOTHER PRINCIPAL.
On this Shabbat day, as we light our candles, let us bring the teachings of Alaha Rakhme into our experience. Shabbat is a time of rest and reflection, a sacred pause to reconnect with the Divine Feminine Presence and to fill our vessels with the Light of Alaha. As we light the candles, let us remember that we are igniting the light of compassion within us. Let us invite the presence of the Divine Womb to nurture and guide us, to heal and restore us.
On Saturday mornings, when we wake up, it still is Shabbat! I am sharing a beautiful prayer from the Magdalene Book of Prayers that you can speak on the Shabbat morning tomorrow, Saturday. You can say this prayer any time of course, I just feel it is so appropriate for the Tammuz – Cancer Season.

Spirit of the Magdalene,
As I open my arms I ask that you extend your blessings upon me.
I Arise and praise your Holy Name.
Raphael stands behind me, Gabriel stands to my left, Michael stands to my right, Uriel stands before me, Shekhinah is above me, Sandalfon is below me,
Yeshua Messiah and Kallah Messiah are in my Hearts.
In this Presence
I Carry my voice into all directions, and I speak in the truth of my Soul.
Alaha, Abwoon, O Heavenly Father, O Earthly Mother,
Hear my prayer!
Blessed are you, Living Father,
And blessed are you, Living Mother,
Blessed is Christ the Sun of Glory,
And Blessed is the Anointed Bride.
Let me be renewed on this day, Mary Magdalene, so as to Give birth to my soul,
Womb of Dawn,
Promise of the new day,
Rebirth me as a child of Light!
O Kallah Messiah,
Let Your Divine Kingdom be manifested through me As I am your Servant.
Fill me with Holy Awareness,
Give me strength to live this day in grace,
Empower my will to discern,
And grant me wisdom to see the Way of Love;
Holy Magdalene Shekhinah be with me this day,
And let your holy angels guide me and accompany me, so I may have a clear direction in all that I do!
Should I fall, lift me up!
Should I forget, remind me,
Should I go astray, return me to the Path;
Empower me to walk in beauty and holiness today!
May the Light of the True Cross of the Magdalene Christ extend to all nations.
May All creatures throughout the earth be blessed .
AMEIN,
Ana Otero
Sending love and blessings to all of you.
