Month of Kislev – Sagittarius
The Dragon Womb and Mother Anna
Kislev, the lunar month aligned with Sagittarius, is the month in which the invisible becomes visible. It is the month of hidden light, the kind of light that gestates in silence before awakening in the world of form. In the ancient mystical traditions, Kislev has always been known as the time when light grows inside the dark, when faith begins to generate form, and when the soul remembers its sacred architecture. This is the moment in which miracles incubate beneath the surface, preparing themselves to enter the world through the subtle, luminous doorways of the heart.
In the Magdalene lineage, this quality of Kislev resonates with the mystery of the Dragon Womb, the womb where spirit, destiny, and matter kneel before one another and become One. The Dragon Womb is one of the deepest chambers of the Magdalene, the place where the Neshamah, the higher soul, descends gently into the Nafsha, the living soul, and presses its divine pattern into the physical world. It is here where destiny takes shape long before it is seen; it is where purpose becomes inevitable.
The Dragon Womb teaches that our sacred path is not discovered by striving. It is remembered. Like the tiny flame of Kislev that becomes an unstoppable miracle, the Dragon Womb shows how the faintest spark of inner knowing expands until it becomes the very fire that illuminates the way forward. It is the womb of gestation, of inner fire, where destiny ripens in silence before it steps forward into form. In this womb, we begin to feel the first movements of something ancient awakening within us, something we have known and carried long before we were born.
During Kislev–Sagittarius, the Light Being who steps forward is Mother Anna, grandmother of Yeshua, matriarch of the Christ lineage, and guardian of all who walk the way of embodied divine purpose. In the mystical tradition, Mother Anna carries the Book of Life. She is the one who unseals soul memory at the appointed time, awakens the inner code of devotion and service, and reveals the mission written before incarnation. She guides us through the subtle gates of destiny with a combination of profound compassion, profound precision, and ancient remembrance. Mother Anna is the one who reminds us that we knew our path before we walked it, we simply needed to remember. Under Her guidance, Kislev becomes the month when destiny stirs and when the lost pages of our soul’s mission return to us like a blessing.
This month also holds two luminous portals of light: Advent and Hanukkah. Though emerging from different traditions, they share one mystical truth: light is conceived before it is seen. Advent is the descent of Divine Light into the womb, the inner moment when Christ is born first in the soul before ever entering the world. The Syriac mystics such as St. Ephrem the Syrian and St. Isaac of Nineveh taught that before Christ is born in time, Christ is born in the inner sanctuary of the heart. In this understanding, Advent is not merely waiting for an event; it is the soul becoming pregnant with light. It is the quickening of Divine Consciousness as it prepares to take form within us.
Hanukkah, too, speaks to the essence of the Dragon Womb. It is the remembrance that one flame can override all limitation, that one spark can become eight, that light multiplies when guarded with devotion, and that the oil of the soul never runs dry. Hanukkah teaches what the Dragon Womb knows: when Divine Light enters the womb of the soul, it expands beyond logic, restores what was lost, and multiplies into revelation.
Through this union of Kislev and the Dragon Womb, something powerful begins to awaken. Faith becomes form. Destiny begins to reveal itself. Purpose shifts from an abstract idea into an embodied presence. Miracles anchor into matter. The inner fire becomes outer guidance. Ancient memory returns through Mother Anna, and the pages of the Book of Life begin to lift themselves into awareness.
Kislev invites us into prophetic intuition, dream revelation, spiritual boldness, creative fire, and alignment with the future self. It asks us to trust the faintest inner light, the dream not yet visible, the miracle not yet manifest, the mission we barely remember, and the page Mother Anna whispers awake inside us. It asks us to trust what is still gestating, knowing that every miracle begins in the dark.
And so, in this month of hidden fire, the invitation is simple and profound: let the Dragon Womb awaken within you. Let Mother Anna open your Book of Life. Let the unseen light you carry become the miracle that shapes your path. Let the spark within you become the flame that guides you home.
To seal this month of Kislev, allow the hidden light within you to rise from silence into form. Let Mother Anna open the pages of your Book of Life that are ready to be remembered, and let the Dragon Womb gather its fire into purpose.
As we enter this portal, we can chant or say this beautiful Aramaic Mantra:
Sefer Hayyim eth’dekhreni
“Book of Life, remember me.”
Feel the light that runs from the heart to the womb,
from the womb to the crown,
from the crown to the unseen realms where your mission was written.
Let the breath carry you into the place where destiny begins to move,
where inner fire becomes outer guidance, and where the Divine Mother whispers you back into the truth of who you are.
