The Hidden Kingdom
Maryam:
“Rabbi, where shall I seek the Kingdom? My heart longs to enter it.”
Yeshua:
“Maryam, where does the seed seek the tree?
Where does the river seek the sea?
Where does light seek the dawn?
Each already carries within itself the mystery it longs to become.
So it is with the Kingdom.
The soul does not journey toward it.
The soul awakens within it.”
Maryam:
“Then why do so many search as though it were far away?”
Yeshua:
“Because the eyes delight in distant horizons while the heart quietly beholds what has always been near.
The Kingdom does not arrive from another place.
It awakens wherever Love is welcomed.
It flowers wherever the heart becomes simple.
It shines wherever the soul remembers.
The dew upon the grass, the song of the morning bird, the bread shared among friends, the tear offered in compassion, each reveals the doorway to the Kingdom for those who have learned to see.”
Maryam:
“Rabbi… how shall I learn to see?”
Yeshua:
“Look upon the sparrow until it becomes your sister.
Look upon the olive tree until it becomes your teacher.
Look upon the stranger until you recognize yourself.
Look upon your own heart until you discover the Face of Alaha dwelling there.
Remain with what is before you until its hidden light begins to speak.
Then every field becomes holy ground.
Every table becomes communion.
Every breath becomes prayer.
Every moment becomes the Kingdom.”
Maryam:
“Then the Kingdom has always been here.”
Yeshua:
“Beloved, the Kingdom has always been spread across the face of creation.
The path of devotion is learning to behold what Love has never ceased revealing.
The awakened heart does not bring the Kingdom into being.
It awakens to the Kingdom that has always been present.
When your seeing becomes love, your life becomes the Kingdom made visible.”
