Magdalene Shabbat: A Sacred Pause

Magdalene Shabbat Blessings

A Sacred Pause

Shabbat, the sacred pause, is at the heart of the Magdalene path. It invites us to step out of the cycle of doing and into the timeless space of being. Today, as I honor Shabbat and the ordination of the Mary Magdalene Priestesses and Priests of 2024, I am reminded that the Magdalene path is not about accumulation of information but about embodiment; it is not about achieving but about becoming.

Shabbat teaches us the art of sacred rest, a rest that is not passive but deeply active in its spiritual essence. It is a return to the source, a remembrance of who we are beyond the roles we play and the goals we pursue. It is the space where the Divine Feminine whispers her wisdom into the depths of our being, calling us to embody the light and love that are our birthright.

On Shabbat, we are invited to set aside the busyness of the world and align with the eternal. This sacred day is a portal into the Magdalene path, a time to listen deeply, to rest in divine presence, and to allow the sacred to infuse every cell of our being.

Mary Magdalene, the keeper of the mysteries, reminds us that embodiment is not about perfection but about integration. And this is what Shabbat reminds us of,  stillness, rhythm, and holiness. Shabbat is the womb in which the teachings of the Magdalene take root, gestating in the silence until they can be born into our lives.

Shabbat is also a space of becoming. In its sacred stillness, we are reminded that we do not need to strive to be worthy of divine love. We are already whole, already sacred. The Magdalene path echoes this truth: it is not about achieving external goals but about becoming more fully who we are.

On this path, Shabbat is a weekly invitation to return to ourselves, to shed the layers of ego and fear, and to step into the fullness of our divine essence. It is a time to honor the journey, to embrace both light and shadow, and to trust that each step is guided by a higher wisdom.

Today, as we celebrate Shabbat, we also celebrate the ordination of the Mary Magdalene Priestesses and Priests of 2024. This sacred moment is the culmination of a year of devotion, transformation, and remembrance. It is a testament to the power of Shabbat to shape us, to hold us, and to call us into greater alignment with the divine.

For those being ordained, this Shabbat marks the beginning of a new chapter—a chapter rooted in service, in healing, and in the sacred union of the Magdalene and Christos energies. It is also a reminder that the Magdalene path is not a destination but a way of being, a lifelong journey of becoming the light we are meant to be.

May this Shabbat be a time of deep rest, profound remembrance, and radiant becoming. And may the light of the Magdalene shine brightly within and through us all.
