Today We Are Sanctified

Today We Are Sanctified

The Bridal Shabbat

Today we are sanctified.
Shabbat is a portal beyond religion, beyond any judgment we hold when we hear the word, it is the rhythm of the cosmos, a sanctuary in time that has existed since the first breath of creation.

I started honoring Shabbat many years ago, before I had my first visitation of Mary Magdalene. I was living in Egypt and there I met one of my great teachers. He was an Egyptian Essene and on Fridays we would gather for Shabbat, a Shabbat rooted in the union of Maryam and Yeshua, Shekhinah Adonai, a Shabbat beyond religion or any form of dogma. This for me was a coming home, a return to an ancient ritual I knew I had practiced in so many life times.

In those moments, I felt myself dissolve into something greater. It was as if I had stepped through a doorway in time, re-entering the circles of women and men who had once gathered in the same way — Essenes, mystics, seekers, lovers of the Light. My body remembered. My breath remembered. My soul whispered: “You have been here before.”

Shabbat became for me portal of infinite intimacy. It was the bridal chamber of the soul, where heaven and earth met within my being. Each week, I return to this sanctuary, and each week, something within me is restored, expanded, illuminated.

Long before Mary Magdalene appeared to me, she was already present in the songs, in the oils, in the light of the two candles that marked the entry into wholeness. Shabbat was the womb that prepared me.

Every week we are invited into this mystery: to rest, to remember, to become whole. Shabbat is not just a pause; it is a bridal chamber of union, where the soul returns to the Beloved.

Shabbat is the moment when a new soul descends, the Neshama Yeteira, the “additional soul.” This is not a different soul, but a heightened expression of our essence. On Shabbat, the higher self becomes more present, more accessible, more radiant. This is the Eenana (I am, I am) that Yeshua taught.

On this day we become the light and the vessel together. The bridal chamber opens within us. Heaven and earth, body and spirit, form and light — they meet in sacred embrace.

Mystics across traditions have spoken of this union. St. Teresa of Ávila describes this experience as the deepest intimacy between the soul and God:

“The soul is fully awake to the fact that it is with God, and that God is within it; and it knows clearly the truth of St. Paul’s words: that in Him ‘we live and move and have our being.’”

And John of the Cross, her Carmelite brother in spirit, adds another dimension of this bridal knowing:

“In the evening of life, we will be judged on love alone.”

Here, in the Bridal Chamber, we remember that we are not separate from the Divine. We are the dwelling place, the beloved, the song itself.

Did you know that on an energetic level, Shabbat is a foundation of manifestation? When we honor Shabbat and enter the Bridal Chamber, everything we manifest in the following week has the potential to emerge from Divine Union, which is where true manifestation happens. This Bridal Chamber portal also gives us the ability to move away from fragmentation and into wholeness.

Tonight, as the sun sets, light two candles. As their flames rise, imagine them as the pillars of the Bridal Chamber: one flame for the vessel, one flame for the light.

You can also call in Divine Presence:
Alaha, Shekhinah, Mary Magdalene, Yeshua — bring me into the Bridal Song of Infinity.

Close your eyes and breathe. Feel the descent of the Neshama Yeteira. Feel the spaciousness of the Divine resting in you. Let yourself become the temple, the song, the covenant.

Shabbat sanctifies us not because of what we do, but because of what we are willing to receive. It is the Divine whispering: “Come to me, my beloved, rest in me, and let me rest in you.”

Each week, this mystery returns. The portal opens again, reminding us that we are not just living in the world; we are participants in creation’s eternal love story.

Today we are sanctified. Today we are light and vessel. Today we are the Bridal Chamber of Divine Union.

Today we are on Day 7 of Mary Magdalene and the 13 Petalled Rose. This is the most powerful portal for Soul Correction – Healing in the whole year, and as we open up to the Rose of Pre-Creation, we remember the first Covenant, our Covenant with Divine Mother, Imma Illah: WE ARE LOVE.
