Mystical Lent begins!
Blessed Ash Wednesday!
February 22, on a Venus Gate and a 222 Portal, marks the beginning of a Lent. In the Desert Rose Teachings this marks a period of purification, introspection, and self-examination. Beginning 40 days before Easter Sunday, Lent is a time of examining ourselves and our lives, and preparing for the resurrection of the Divine Light at Easter.
40 is a powerful number. Yeshua started his True Ministry after spending 40 days in the Desert. Also, when we commit to a spiritual pratice for 40 Days, the blood is cleansed and the mind reprogrammed.
Lent is about limiting ourselves, exercising the will over the body, so as to remember our true spiritual nature.
Let us bring our attention to those things in our lives that draw our attention away from our true nature and Soul Essence, and that spark of Divine Light we all possess: the indwelling Christ.
We may choose to add to our regular devotional practices, or even begin a new one. It is a time of reflection and self-examination so that when the 40 days are over, we find ourselves in a better position than we were before: in communion with our Soul, with Alaha, with life, with Humanity.
May this lent season be a time of powerful transformation for all of us. I will be sharing reflections and practices so we may connect to the Mystical Experience of Lent as a Community.
