The Aramaic Secret of Faith

The Aramaic Secret of Faith

Aramaic: Language of Creation and Divine Union

So often we are told to “have faith.” Yet rarely do we pause to ask what faith truly is.

Does faith mean believing that a certain outcome will unfold? That what we desire will come to pass? That healing will arrive, that love will remain, that the world will become gentler, wiser, more awake? Many of us were taught to understand faith as a form of spiritual endurance, a way of holding on while waiting for something outside ourselves to change.

For many years, I understood faith in this way. I believed faith was something I needed to maintain in order to make life move in the direction I hoped for — a kind of spiritual persistence, proof of trust that would eventually be rewarded. Yet as I began praying and studying through the Aramaic consciousness carried within the teachings of Yeshua and Mary Magdalene, my understanding of faith transformed completely.

In the ancient Aramaic language, the word often translated as “faith” is Haimanuta. Hidden within this sacred word is a sound many of us already know intimately: Amen.

Yet Haimanuta carries a depth far beyond intellectual belief. In the Semitic spiritual worldview, faith is not merely agreement with an idea or doctrine. It is relational. Alive. Reciprocal. It describes a living exchange between the human heart and the Divine Heart.

Haimanuta does not simply mean:
“I believe something to be true.”

It means:
“I trust You.”
“I enter relationship with You.”
“I place my heart within the covenant of Divine Presence.”

And within this sacred movement, another realization emerges:
the moment we place our faith in the Divine, the Divine places faith in us.

This changes everything.

Because faith then ceases to be passive waiting and becomes participation. Heaven is no longer distant. The Divine is no longer a force withholding miracles while humanity struggles to prove worthiness. Instead, existence itself becomes a living relationship of trust.

When we say:
“I have faith in You, Beloved Creator, Shekhinah, Christ, Holy Presence who breathes through all things,”
we awaken a sacred reciprocity woven into creation itself.

And the Divine responds:
“I have faith in you.”

What would change in our lives if we truly understood this?

To realize that Heaven has faith in you means that creation itself recognizes your capacity to embody light. It means the Divine sees within you the ability to heal, to create, to love, to serve, to remember, and to become fully alive. It means your soul was entrusted with something sacred long before you became aware of it.

This is why faith is covenant.

A sacred agreement between Heaven and Earth.
A living partnership between the human soul and Divine Presence.

The human heart whispers:
“I will continue to trust You, even when I cannot yet see the path.”

And the Divine whispers back:
“I continue to trust you, even when you forget who you are.”

This is the heart of Haimanuta.

Faith becomes mutual trust.
Co-creation.
Relationship.
Love made visible through the movement of life itself.

When we begin to live in Haimanuta, prayer transforms completely. Prayer ceases to be a list of requests sent toward a distant God. It becomes communion. Conversation. Participation in the living breath of creation.

The Shekhinah — the indwelling Divine Presence — begins to move through our awareness, our breath, our choices, our gestures, our words.

And gradually, our lives become anointed.

To become anointed means that our actions become infused with presence. Our words begin carrying blessing. Our gestures carry healing. Our creations carry coherence. The breath itself becomes filled with the movement of the Holy Spirit — the living breath of Alaha, Divine Mother-Father, moving through the human vessel.

Faith, in this understanding, reminds us:

“I was created to create.”
“I was born to carry light.”
“I am trusted by the Divine to remember love.”

Remembering this transforms the way we move through the world.

When you awaken in the morning, before the mind begins to race toward fear, memory, obligation, or uncertainty, pause for a moment. Place your hand upon your heart. Feel the breath moving gently within you and remember:

Haimanuta.

“I have faith in You, Beloved Creator, Shekhinah, Christ, Magdalene, Holy Presence.”

“And You have faith in me.”

“I remember the sacred covenant between Heaven and Earth that lives within my breath.”

Amen.
So it is.

Faith is no longer the act of holding on until something happens.
Faith becomes the remembrance of who we are in relationship with the Divine.

It becomes a living conversation between Heaven and Earth, a current of reciprocity flowing through the heart of creation itself.

So the next time someone tells you to “have faith,” remember this:

Heaven already has faith in you.

You are trusted.
You are loved.
You are part of the sacred covenant of creation itself.

Amen.
So it is.

    Dear Ana

Thank you so much for your inspirational and wise words. I too have come to realise Faith as meaning Holy Communion. With Christ. I have recently made 2 Mary Magdalene pilgrimages to the south of France. There I had some profound religious experiences. One was sitting in front of a very large crucifix and focusing in prayer I was able to talk to Christ, communicate directly. This has become a strengthening of my faith in Christ. I also experienced Marry Magdalene coming to me in prayer with a sacred Rose for me, Her rose of innocence. Hence with these and other experiences my faith has deepened immensely.

Your words here have helped me to understand your Faith through the Aramaic spoken by Yeshua. I am looking forward to working with you on your Glastonbury retreat this summer.

    Blessings and Love
