7 Day Womb Portal

The 7-Day Womb Portal

The Womb Mysteries of Creation

On the eve of October 6th, the Full Moon, we entered the seven days of Sukkot — an ancient and mystical Womb Portal of remembrance, renewal, and divine shelter.

Traditionally known as the Feast of Booths in the Aramaic–Hebrew calendar, Sukkot invites us to dwell in temporary sanctuaries called sukkot (singular: sukkah). A sukkah is a simple dwelling made of natural materials — open to the sky, fragile yet filled with light. It reminds us of the divine protection that surrounded the children of Israel in the desert: a living symbol that although all outer structures are temporary, the true shelter is eternal — the Presence of the Divine within us.

On the mystical level, Sukkot is not only a story of journeying through the wilderness, it is an activation of the Womb of Creation, the Beit (ב), the second letter of the Aramaic–Hebrew alphabet. Beit means House, Dwelling, or Womb, the sanctuary of the Divine Feminine, the inner temple that lives within every soul.

We are now in the month of Tishrei (Libra), the first month of the lunar year. In its deeper mysteries, Sukkot awakens Womb Consciousness, the remembrance that we are always held, protected, and nourished in the womb of Divine Love. Wherever we are, the Beit travels with us. We are the Holy Dwelling, the sanctuary where heaven and earth meet.

Each of the seven days of Sukkot aligns with a day of the original Creation Story, and within us, each day activates a dimension of Womb Consciousness.

Day 1 – Light within Darkness

“Yehi Or – Let there be Light.” (Genesis 1:3)

Womb Consciousness Activated: The Awakening of Primordial Light

On this first day, the womb of creation opens. The Divine Mother breathes light into the darkness of the void.
We remember that the womb is pure potential, the fertile darkness where new creation begins.
In our own lives, this day awakens the inner spark, the first impulse of vision and purpose.
Practice: Prepare your sukkot candle. Anoint the candle with an essential oil and today is the first day you will light your candle. Your intention being the remembrance of the pure potential of creation that you hold within. In the 7 days of sukkot, light your candle.

Day 2 – The Waters of Separation

“Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters.” (Genesis 1:6)

Womb Consciousness Activated: The Sacred Waters of Discernment

The second day teaches us the art of boundaries.
Just as the Divine separated the upper and lower waters, we learn to discern what nurtures and what drains.
This day invites us to heal emotional overwhelm, to trust the natural tides of feeling, and to let clarity emerge.
Practice: Light your candle and throughout the day, bless your water before drinking; affirm your right to sacred space and energetic purity.

Day 3 – The Earth That Births

“Let the dry land appear.” (Genesis 1:9)

Womb Consciousness Activated: The Ground of Manifestation

Here, the Divine Mother gathers the waters and reveals the earth — the sacred soil of embodiment.
We root into stability, nourishment, and belonging.
The womb becomes not only the matrix of potential but also the ground that brings dreams into form.
Practice: Walk barefoot on the earth; feel your womb (or hara) connecting to Gaia’s pulse.

Day 4 – The Lights of Sacred Timing

“Let there be lights in the heavens to mark the seasons.” (Genesis 1:14)

Womb Consciousness Activated: The Cosmic Rhythm of the Feminine Cycles

The fourth day opens the awareness of divine timing and rhythm.
Sun, moon, and stars arise, the womb’s celestial clock.
We remember that everything gestates in sacred order, that patience and trust are part of creation.
Practice: Journal on the phases of your personal cycle (or lunar cycle for men and women in their wisdom years) and how each one mirrors creation.

Day 5 – The Life of the Waters and Air

“Let the waters bring forth abundantly.” (Genesis 1:20)

Womb Consciousness Activated: The Flow of Expression and Creation

Here, life begins to move — fish swim, birds soar.
The womb becomes a place of movement, sound, breath, and creativity.
This day awakens the inner song, the pulse of devotion, and the joy of expressing your divine essence.
Practice: Chant, drum, play music — allow your voice to flow like water, invoking freedom and aliveness.

Day 6 – The Creation of Humanity

“Let us make humanity in our image.” (Genesis 1:26)

Womb Consciousness Activated: The Birth of Divine Embodiment

The sixth day is the revelation of Divine Image in flesh.
We remember that we are not separate from God, we are expressions of the same sacred breath.
This day calls us to live as embodied temples — integrating spirit and matter, masculine and feminine, heaven and earth.
Practice: Anoint your body with oil, blessing it as a living temple of Shekhinah.

Day 7 – The Shabbat of Rest and Union

“And on the seventh day, God rested.” (Genesis 2:2)

Womb Consciousness Activated: The Rest of Divine Union

The seventh day is the womb returning to stillness.
All creation is complete, and the Mother rests within her own fullness.
This is the day of integration, of communion, of knowing you are home within the Divine Dwelling.
Practice: Rest. Breathe. Receive.
Let your heart remember that you are both the dream and the dreamer, the creation and the creator.

The Blessings and Benefits of Honoring the Womb Portal

I started honoring this portal when I lived in Egypt, but it wasn´t until 2020 that I started to understand the importance of this Womb Portal. I have honored these days as my own reset, my own going back to my creation story to heal, unite and understand. The way forward is first inward.

When we honor this 7-Day Womb Portal, we enter into a sacred rhythm of receiving, resting, and rebirthing.
In my experience, the following are activated during these powerful days of Creation.

We Remember safety and belonging. We are not separate from Source, we live within the sacred architecture of Divine Compassion.

We Recalibrate our nervous system. The Womb Portal restores balance, quiets anxiety, and opens the heart to trust the flow of life.

We Activate our creative power. From this place of rest, new visions can gestate, dreams, projects, and relationships born through grace rather than striving.

We Align with the rhythms of creation. The cycles of Sukkot mirror the cosmic womb — expansion, contraction, creation, and return — reminding us that all of life moves through sacred timing.

We Strengthen collective consciousness. As each person awakens the Beit within, we participate in birthing a Womb-Based Society — a world rooted in interconnection, compassion, and mutual care.

A womb-based society, as described by the Chilean biologist and mystic Humberto Maturana, reflects matristic consciousness — a way of living where women and men honor the womb as the sacred center of life, symbolizing unity, nurturance, and the continuity of creation.

This year, the Womb Portal of Sukkot opens from the evening of October 6th until the evening of October 13th, 2025.

Did you know that in the Sufi tradition these 7 days are connected to Mother Mary?

Maryam — The Womb of Divine Light

In the Sufi heart, Maryam, Mother Mary,is the archetype of the soul that becomes pure enough to receive the Breath of God.
Before she conceived Yeshua, she conceived Light  Nūr — within her being.
Her womb became the sanctuary of the Infinite.

It is said in the Qur’an (19:17) that she withdrew from her people to a place in the East — a symbol of the soul turning inward, toward the dawn of divine revelation.
There, in the silence of her heart, she received the Divine Breath (Rūḥ)
and the Word became flesh.

To the Sufi mystics, this is the story of every awakened heart.
Maryam represents the soul that has entered the womb of surrender,
where no ego, no effort, no striving remains, only receptivity to the Presence that descends like dew upon the heart.

Creation is renewed each moment in the Womb of the Divine Feminine
the Rahim — from which the very name Allah al-Raḥmān, al-Raḥīm (The Most Compassionate, The Most Merciful) arises.
This same root — R-Ḥ-M — means womb.
Thus, every act of divine mercy is a birth,
and every soul who turns to Love becomes a Maryam,
pregnant with the Beloved, carrying the Word into the world.

I am sharing with you a Womb Meditation with the Archangels. The Archangels represent the four directions of the sukkah — the pillars of light and the cosmic forces of protection that uphold creation. Each Archangel guards a gate, just as each wall of the sukkah defines a sacred boundary. Together, they weave a living temple around and within us, activating the inner Beit: the Holy Womb, the Dwelling of the Divine.
