Kabbalah is the mystical tradition underlying both Judaism and Christianity.
It is a body of esoteric teachings and an oral tradition passed down from teacher to student for thousands of years, with its wisdom finally being documented in Spain by Moises de Leon through the Zohar.
Moises de Leon is traditionally credited with composing the Zohar in the late 13th century. While the exact date is not definitively established, most scholars agree that it was written around 1280 to 1286. The Zohar, a foundational work of Hebrew mysticism, or Kabbalah, is presented as a collection of mystical commentaries on the Torah, attributed to the 2nd-century sage Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, but modern scholarship attributes its authorship primarily to Moises de Leon.
The Hebrew word “Kabbalah” means “to receive,” inviting us to open ourselves to receive the universal teachings on how to awaken and return to our true nature. It guides us on the path to becoming a true divine human being—a journey that is as challenging, yet what we are here to accomplish.
Becoming a True Divine Human
How do we become a true divine human? According to the Kabbalistic tradition, our souls and the creation itself are mapped through the 10 Dimensions of the Sefirot. These dimensions are a guide for understanding the complex interactions between the divine and the human, providing a framework for personal and spiritual growth.
Kabbalah is one of the most profound and effective methods of spiritual training. Its universal principles offer powerful guidance to enhance all areas of life—personally, professionally, and spiritually.
The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is a sacred map of the inner landscape, guiding us through the necessary developments and transformations needed to reconnect with the source of all life. Each of the 10 Sefirot represents a different aspect of the divine and the human experience, helping us to navigate our spiritual journey with clarity and purpose.
At The Desert Rose Mystery School, we delve deep into these ancient teachings, offering a path to enlightenment and self-discovery.
Whether you are new to Kabbalah or looking to deepen your understanding, our school provides a nurturing environment to explore and integrate these profound teachings.
