The Mystical Path of the Omer
A 49-Day Journey Through the Sefirot with Yeshua and Mary Magdalene
by Ana Otero, The Desert Rose Mystery School
Each spring, beginning on the second night of Passover, we are invited into a sacred pilgrimage: the Counting of the Omer, a 49-day spiritual journey culminating in the festival of Shavuot, the celebration of divine revelation.
But this is not just an outer commemoration , it is an inner activation. This year, 2025, the Counting of the Omer begins on the Eve of April the 13th.
In the mystical tradition of Kabbalah, the Omer is a journey through the Tree of Life, ascending through the Sefirot, the divine emanations of the Infinite. From Chesed (Lovingkindness) to Malchut (Kingdom), each day offers us a mirror, a gate, and a guidepost for personal transformation.
We are refining the soul.
We are weaving the sacred template of our own Tree of Life, body, heart, mind, and spirit, aligning with divine will and sacred purpose.
Tiferet and Malchut: The Sacred Union of Yeshua and Magdalene
In Kabbalistic terms, Tiferet sits at the heart of the Tree of Life. It is the sefirah of beauty, compassion, balance, and truth, the harmonizing force that integrates the higher and lower worlds.
Tiferet is deeply associated with Yeshua, whose life and teachings reveal the radiant harmony of divine mercy and divine justice. He walks as the path and the bridge, the sacred mediator between heaven and earth. Yeshua, in this lens, is the Heart of the Tree, the image of divine compassion embodied in human form.
At the base of the Tree is Malchut, the sefirah of Kingdom - Queendom, the vessel that receives and manifests all the higher emanations. It is the sacred feminine gate through which spirit becomes matter, the realm of embodiment, and the indwelling presence of the Divine known as Shekhinah.
Mary Magdalene, as Malchut, becomes the living presence of the Divine Feminine on earth. She is the one who grounds the teachings of Yeshua, embodying wisdom, receptivity, and anointing. She is the sacred cup that receives the Light of Tiferet and pours it into the world. Through her, we learn that true sovereignty is not power over, but love made manifest.
Together, Yeshua and Mary Magdalene reveal the mystic path of union, integration, and incarnation. In walking the path of the Omer, we journey not just from slavery to freedom, but from fragmentation to wholeness, through the embrace of both masculine radiance and feminine presence.
Counting the Omer is for everyone!
This journey is not about intellectual mastery.
You don’t need to understand the Tree of Life or the Gnostic Gospels
What you need is the willingness to purify your inner temple, day by day, breath by breath.
To open yourself to the 10 Dimensions of your soul.
To allow each daily reflection to nourish your essence, anchor your mission, and awaken divine remembrance.
At The Desert Rose Mystery School, we count the Omer together , as a global soul family , entering the temple of time with devotion, simplicity, and sacred intention.
