The Sacred Sound of Healing: Chanting Mem Hei Shin
The Aramaic–Hebrew letters are primordial frequencies of Creation itself, the very vibrations through which all that is came into being. These letters are living streams of divine light, each carrying a resonance that shapes, sustains, and reveals the fabric of existence.
From these letters we receive the 72 Names of God. These are not names in the conventional sense, they are radiant currents, subtle codes of sound and light that are permutations of the sacred letters. Each is a pathway into the Infinite, a key that unlocks hidden chambers of the soul and restores remembrance of Source and our Divine Essence.
In my own daily practice, I chant the 72 names of God every day, along with the Magdala – Christos Mantras of our school. There are also certain permutations that I chant and meditate on for a longer period of time, and one of these is Mem–Hei–Shin (מהש).
The vibration of this permutation gathers the scattered fragments of being and calls us back into wholeness, a reintegration of body, soul, and spirit in the embrace of the Divine. When chanted and embodied, we experience a remembrance that restores the original harmony within.
Mem Hei Shin, is a sound encoded with the divine intelligence of healing, renewal, and light. This permutation of letters is a vibrational bridge between the seen and unseen, the fragmented and the whole, the finite and the infinite. When spoken or sung with pure intention, it calls forth the presence of divine healing energy, dissolving blocks and awakening the natural regenerative power within.
The Essence of Mem Hei Shin
Each letter carries a frequency of Light Creation:
Mem (מ) – The primordial waters, the deep well of wisdom and renewal, the flow of divine sustenance.
Hei (ה) – The breath of creation, the opening, the space where healing enters.
Shin (ש) – The divine fire, the consuming light that transmutes and heals, the alchemical spark of transformation.
When these letters come together, they create a perfect triad of healing: water, breath, and fire. These elements dance within us, mirroring the great cosmic forces that sustain life itself.
Guided Chanting Practice: Awakening the Healing Frequency
Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed. Sit comfortably, with your spine straight and your heart open. Take a deep breath in, allowing your body to soften, your mind to quiet, and your heart to receive. Close your eyes and bring your awareness to your body’s natural rhythm.
Begin with a few rounds of deep, conscious breathing. Inhale deeply through your nose, feeling the breath expand within you. As you exhale, release any tension, any resistance, and allow yourself to soften into presence.
Begin chanting softly: Mem Hei Shin… Mem Hei Shin… Mem Hei Shin…
Feel the waters of Mem washing over you, clearing stagnation. Let the breath of Hei fill your being, opening pathways of renewal. Let the fire of Shin illuminate and transmute all that is ready to be released.
As you chant, place your hands over your heart or any area in your body that needs healing. Maybe what needs healing is emotional, or a relationship. You can also visualize these experiences as well. Envision a golden light swirling around and within you, weaving together the fragmented pieces of your being. Trust that the divine intelligence of this sacred sound is working through you.
When you feel complete, allow yourself to sit in stillness. Notice any sensations, insights, or shifts in your energy. Breathe in gratitude. You have just attuned yourself to the frequency of divine healing.
There is another beautiful Essene ritual that I do every day. Get a glass of water and put it close to your mouth. Chant Men – Hei – Shin 7 times into the water. After chanting the permutation 7 times, breathe into the water 3 times. Drink the water. This is very powerful as you are not only healing with the creation frequencies of the permutation, you are also healing with your own breath and sound.
The voice is a vessel of creation. It carries the blueprint of our divine essence. By reclaiming our sound, by remembering these sacred vibrations, we remember who we truly are: beings of light, resonance, and infinite potential. Mem Hei Shin is a gift, a key to realigning with the sacred rhythm of life itself. Use it whenever you need restoration, clarity, or healing. It is always here for you, waiting to be chanted – vibrated into being.

Mother Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth,
Virgin Bride, radiant Shekhinah,
your crown is woven of stars and your throne rests in the heart of creation.
You are the hidden flame within the desert night,
the soft breath that awakens the soul to remembrance.
As we enter the month of Elul – Virgo,
you rise as Initiatrix of the journey,
calling us from exile into return,
from forgetting into knowing,
from the ache of separation into the embrace of the Beloved.
You are the Virgin who conceives without possession,
the Mother who anoints the wounds of the world.
Through you, heaven bends to kiss the earth;
through you, the soul remembers its origin in Light.
Queen of Mercy, open within me the bridal chamber of the heart.
Strip away all that is false,
all that clings to shadow,
all that veils me from my own radiance.
Clothe me in the garment of humility,
adorn me with the jewel of devotion,
crown me with the wisdom of Love.
Teach me to walk barefoot upon the sacred ground of my own soul,
to hear the voice of the One who calls in the garden,
to answer, “I am here.”
Mary, Queen and Bride,
Shekhinah of earth and heaven,
may your radiance guide my return.
And when the gates open,
may I enter not as one apart,
but as one who is found:
beloved, restored,
a living sanctuary of the Christ Light.

Ana, I have a question concerning the 13 petal course. Will it come in replays as I still work & wasn’t sure of timeframe of sessions? Also is it too late to register if I can make it work?
