Feast Day Our Lady of Guadalupe
The Rise of the Magdalene Lineage
Today we celebrate the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a presence that, according to many Gnostic and mystical traditions, marked a great awakening of consciousness on Earth. It is said that when Guadalupe descended as a sign from Heaven, the frequency of the Magdalene entered the world once again, opening a portal for the healing of the feminine lineage and the remembrance of the sacred.
Many mystics affirm that Our Lady of Guadalupe and Mary Magdalene are profoundly connected. One of the most significant reasons is her depiction as a dark-skinned Virgin, linking Guadalupe to the ancient tradition of the Black Madonnas, figures that have accompanied humanity since primordial times as embodiments of Mother Earth and of hidden Wisdom.
During the Middle Ages, the understanding grew that these Black Madonnas were not merely devotional images but manifestations of Mary Magdalene. The “blackness” does not refer to literal skin color, but to mystery, to the hidden, to that which was veiled because the world was not yet ready to receive her truth.
Mary Magdalene was silenced and concealed for centuries as the true companion and co-teacher of Master Yeshua, and this veil of concealment became symbolically expressed through the dark iconography.
For this reason, in many esoteric and mystical traditions, Mary Magdalene is the Black Madonna:
the Wisdom that remained hidden,
the Sacred Earth that sustains life,
the Feminine Presence who survived in silence until the moment when her truth could rise again.
Today, as we honor Our Lady of Guadalupe, we also honor the return of the Magdalene, her light, her lineage, and her mission to awaken within humanity the remembrance of what we have always been.
