Novena St. Teresa of Avila. Day 9
Ahava and Blessings
HAPYY FEAST DAY OF ST. TERESA OF AVILA!
Today we celebrate day 9 of our Novena to St Teresa of Avila.
9 is a powerful number, symbolizing endings and beginnings. It is also a number of Compassion and Wisdom and is connected to the Subtle Body.
Every time I finish a Novena I feel a powerful change within me. Committing for 9 days straight to the transmission of St. Teresa of Avila has been powerful. She is with me, She is with you, She is sustaining us and guiding us as a Magdalene. So many powerful Light Beings want to guide us, we just need to let them in.
Today, on this 9th day, I leave you with only one quote, a powerful quote, by St Teresa to reflect on, as on the 9th day it is important to take time for a Ritual to ground these teachings and transmissions.
Day 9 of Novena
Say out loud:
St. Teresa, I ask that you open the doors to the interior castle of my heart so I too may begin the journey into the power of prayer. I ask that you grant me this gift. Make me a channel of Creativity and Inspiration.
Read the following written by St. Teresa of Ávila. Please note that GOD as she calls the Divine has no Gender, I am just being faithful to the translation.
“Remember that you have only one soul in this life… that you have only one death to die (in this life); that you have only one life, which is short and has to be lived by you alone; and there is only one Glory, which is eternal. If you do this, there will be many things about which you care nothing. ” St. Teresa of Avila
On this 9th day of the Novena, let us reflect on the following:
1. What is really important in your life? What are those trivial experiences or thoughts that take up so much of your time when you could be doing something more creative? Why do we let other people´s words and projections towards us bother us so much? Today on this last day of our Novena, be grateful for all that you have and focus on your creative energy and all of the beauty that wants to birth through you.
2. The Ritual. Today it is very important to close this 9 day cycle. Take time to write a prayer of gratitude to St Teresa of Avila. In this prayer also ask her to give you her blessings and to guide you. Once you have finished this prayer, read it out loud three times and then go to nature and bury it near a tree. St Teresa of Avila loved nature and saw in nature the Expression of the Heavenly Creation. This is an excellent way to ground these transmissions.
When you are finished reflecting, chant and do the Movement Prayer in the video included below.
