Happy Earth Day
Mother Womb — Earth Day Transmission
This morning after my prayers and practice, I pulled out this lovely card from The Desert Rose Oracle Cards.
Today, as we honor the Earth, we are invited to remember that the ground beneath us is not separate from us. The Earth is the great Mother Womb, alive, intelligent, and endlessly creating. She is not only the place we walk upon, but the field that holds, nourishes, and births all life into form.
The same intelligence that shapes mountains, rivers, forests, and oceans lives within your own body. The same rhythm that moves the tides moves your breath. The same fertile darkness that holds the seed within the soil exists within your own inner womb, the space where creation begins before it is seen.
To honor the Earth is to honor this living womb within yourself.
It is to recognize that creation is always happening through you, as you, and with you.
Today, allow yourself to soften into this remembrance. Walk gently. Breathe consciously. Touch the Earth with awareness. Feel that you belong to her, and that she belongs to you as shared existence.
The Mother Womb is the field of life itself.
And today, we remember.
