Our Lady of Montserrat
Messages for Humanity
The potency of the moment we are living in, the sacred convergence of Advent and Hanukkah, has called me to journey deeply into the mystery of the Mother’s darkness. As we prepare to light the fourth Advent candle, we can already feel the quiet beauty of the Light gathering, ready to emerge. In these days of prayer and contemplation, as I sat in communion with Our Lady, listening to Her silence, a message was revealed to me this morning from Our Lady of Montserrat.
Our Lady of Montserrat, who dwells physically in the mountains of Catalonia and mystically within the depths of our own being, responds when she is invoked, an ancient presence that awakens, grounds, and nourishes us with healing wisdom.
I am the place where truth rises
only after the mind has been emptied of its demands.
I am the stillness that dismantles false certainty
and restores what was always known.
I tell you this:
What you call darkness is not your enemy.
It is the chamber of gestation.
It is where light gathers its strength
before it reveals itself.
You have been taught to fear the unseen,
yet the unseen is your origin.
To fear it is to forget where you come from.
Remember:
Nothing holy is born without your full weight upon the Earth.
Nothing true arrives without patience,
without waiting, without listening, without repair.
Nothing eternal is revealed without surrender.
Do not look for the Mother above you.
She is not found in striving.
She is beneath your urgency,
beneath your hunger to arrive,
beneath the speed with which you flee from your own depths.
She waits
in the pause you refuse,
in the grief you have not allowed to open you,
in the silence you hurry past.
Come nearer.
My silence has guided souls before language, before doctrine, before fear.
Listen, and you will remember the covenant you made
before you entered in flesh.
You are of the heavens.
And you are of the Earth.
You were never meant to choose between them.
Hear this prophecy:
When you stop demanding light,
light will rise to meet you.
When you stop climbing,
the mountain will carry you.
When you stop forcing the way forward,
the womb will open.
And what has been hidden
will begin to emerge.
